Society has a tendency to objectify models and beauty to the surroundings that deviate them. The trappings of clothing, make-up and digital manipulation makes us lose the value of the person and the intrinsic view when we look at models.

We deal with so much noise pollution on a daily basis, I feel we miss the whispers of the sounds that get drowned from the din. Simple flutterings of birds can be lost with what assaults our ears on a daily basis. Sometimes, I just want to hear nature over the mass of technology that surrounds us.

We are no strangers to chemical warfare - we are continuing to find better and more effective ways to make our fellow man suffer before perishing. The title of this piece is in reference to the phrase "Sic 'em". inciting attacks by a dog. But with our subject, the soldier and his canine companion are protected from gas and chemical attacks, hence the "Sick 'em!"
