Employed through Broadview Entertainment Arts University for the aesthetic education of Post Secondary students, ranging in ages from 18 to 24.  Use and creation of DBAE and VCAE curriculum, including aesthetic terminology regarding the Elements and Principles of Design.  Classes Taught: Creature Design; Human Form and Action; Form and Shadow; and Costume, Head & Hands.

Art Instructor, Nebo Public Schools​

Mt. Nebo Jr. High School

Employed through the Nebo School District for the aesthetic education of Seventh through Ninth grade students, ranging in ages from 11 to 15, including Special Needs children.  Use and creation of DBAE and VCAE curriculum, including aesthetic terminology regarding the Elements and Principles of Design.  Classes Taught: Foundations, Advanced Foundations, 3D Design, Photography, and Study Hall.

Employed through the Nebo Continuing Education for the aesthetic education of Adult Learners.  Use and creation of DBAE and VCAE curriculum, including aesthetic terminology regarding the Elements and Principles of Design.  Classes Taught: Figure Drawing and Watercolor Painting.

Employed through the Plymouth Canton Community School District for the aesthetic education of Ninth through Twelfth grade students, ranging in ages from 14 to 19, including Special Needs children.  Use and creation of DBAE and VCAE curriculum, including aesthetic terminology regarding the Elements and Principles of Design.  Classes Taught: Introduction to Art Foundations, Painting, Ceramics, Photography, and Drawing & Sketching as well as Summer School Courses.

Fall 2004 – Winter 2005

Improvisation Instructor, Canton Leisure Services
Taught weeknight program of Improvisational techniques to Adults ranging in age from 20-50+.  Game-based acting theories and performance art.  Curriculum based on V. Spolin’s Improvisation for the Theater and Acting Games in the Classroom.


Fall 1998 – Spring 1999

Art Instructor, St. Thomas Aquinas Parochial School
Began Aesthetic Curriculum for First through Eighth grade Parochial School.  Taught Friday sessions, meeting with three grades (about 25 students each) weekly to teach an art lesson based off of DBAE curriculum.

Fall 1997 – spring 1999 Art Instructor, Saturday Art Program at Michigan State University
Taught Saturday Extra-curricular sessions for Kindergarten through High School-aged children, meeting with one class (about 20 students) weekly to teach an art lesson based off of DBAE curriculum and practices of Viktor Lowenfeld.
